We offer free access to virtual learning for the next generation of visual effects artists around the world through our Academy.

Our courses prepare you for a career in visual effects by working with industry experts on their creative, technical, procedural, and soft skills. They also provide a great opportunity to gain experience and expertise to build upon as you progress in your career.

And, upon completion of the course you will have the opportunity to directly apply for available roles at Technicolor Creative Studios – and potentially receive a joining bonus if you are successful.

The course facilitates trainees to engage in a 4-week program designed to sharpen your skills to be the best Layout artist you can be. The Layout Artist is responsible for the implementation of assets and cameras in a 3D scene. During this course you will practice creating a cinematic vision, based on the 2D storyboard/3D previz, while following instruction and applying feedback from a learning lead. During the Academy, artists will use their ability to implement and accomplish tasks as per the schedule and curriculum delivered by the trainer. They will perfect their technical, creative and soft skills in the objective of emerging studio-ready from the training.
